It’s okay. Don’t ask me what’s wrong. I don’t have an answer anyways. Just leave me alone… You’ve been doing good at it already. It’s not that I even matter anyways, right? I just hate being sad… And invisible at the same time.
How To Help A Friend Get Through Depression
Part of being a good friend is being there for the tough times. If you have a friend who is struggling with depression there are lots of ways to help and support them. Here are some tips for helping your friend with depression:
· Listen. The number one thing you can do to help your friend is to listen. They will want to talk about their feelings sooner or later, and you can be supportive by being available to listen. Let them vent, cry or just talk about whatever they need to. Let them know that you’re there whenever they need to talk
· Be available. Make yourself available to your friend whenever they need you. Let them know that it’s ok to call late at night or even if they think you’re busy. Tell them that you are there for them any time they need a friend. Even if they don’t take you up on it, it’s nice for them to know that they can rely on you.
